International Paragliding Festival at Vagamon ( APRIL 6 7 8 2006 )

Thousands of people watched the international paragliding festival during the 6 7 8th of April 2006. More than 35 pilots arrived to fly at this nascent site.

The Event was graced by many important personalities on various days. Mr. Ashok Kumar Singh IAS (Additional Director, Kerala Tourism),K Sashidara IAS (Dt Collector, Idikki), Mr. JK Thomas (MD, Malankara Plantations), Dr. Mohammed (Chairman, Consolidated Estates Ltd.), Mr. George Kulangara (Chairman, Labor India Group), Mr. PAGV Raja(Sr Partner, Varma & Varma chartered accountants), Cap.PKRV Raja (Retd Flying instructor, Trivandrum Flying Club) were some of the guests who evinced keen interest in promoting the Event.vAGA 2007

Prizes were distributed at the closing ceremony, held at Kozhikkanam Estate bungalow by Sri Varkychan Pottankulam.
